John Frank Boone Jr.

John Frank Boone Jr., 64, of Albemarle, passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2017.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 11:00 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Albemarle. Rev Joe Smith and Pastor Kelly Wilson will officiate.

Mr. Boone was born on February 25, 1953 in Stanly County to the late Ruby Barbee and John Boone Sr. He was a construction worker with D.A. Holbrook & Sons. John will be remembered for his love of his animals, fishing, and classic cars. He enjoyed riding horses, drawing, and just having a good time.

He is survived by his children: Shannon Morgan (Darnell) of Aberdeen, NC, Nicolas Boone, and Danielle Boone, both of Albemarle; two grandchildren: Darnell F. Morgan and Marshall Lefler; brothers and sisters: Ronnie Broadaway (Ruth), Elaine Eudy (Clegg), Bobbie Cagle (Lewis), and Nola Doby (David) all of Albemarle.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to his sister, Elaine Eudy: 1514 Old Charlotte Road, Albemarle NC, 28001.
