Jim Lee

James Thomas “Jim” Lee 74 of Norwood died Monday Evening, May 22, 2017 at Glen Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeremy Blake will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 Thursday Afternoon.

Jim was born June 12, 1942 in Anson County to the late James Herman and Fronnie Mae Gibson Lee. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the 82 Airborne during the Vietnam era, serving in Korea. He was a retired Welder and served many years as a volunteer fireman. He was a member of Norwood Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Whitley Lee

He is survived by Three Sons, James “Buck” Lee (Lindsey) of Albemarle, Aaron Lee (Carroll) and Matthew Lee all of Norwood. Two daughters, Rebecca Sexton of Salisbury and Pam Blake (Jeremy) of New London. One brother and two sisters, Don Lee, Linda Carpenter and Renee’ Bowers all of Norwood. Three Step-Daughters, Katrina Denninger (Kenny) of Supply, Maria Shelton (George) of Norwood and Amber George (Ryan) of Indiana). Twelve Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.
