James Wesley McCarver

James Wesley McCarver 70 of Norwood died Friday Afternoon, February 24, 2017 at his home.

The family will receive friends at their residence and a family memorial service will be held at a later date.

James was born June 18, 1946 in Mecklenburg County. He was a son of the late Mack and Eva McKinney McCarver. He was a retired Supervisor with Kenneth Home Fashions of Matthews.

He is survived by his wife Ann Martin McCarver of the home. One son, Wes McCarver and wife Susanne of Locust. Two daughters, Cindy McCarver Davis and husband Michael of Pikeville, NC and Chea McCarver Medlin of Monroe. Two brothers, Roger McCarver and wife Vicky of Hemby Bridge and Ronnie McCarver and wife Jackie of Monroe. One sister, Rebecca Rowland and husband Chris of Monroe. One sister-in-law Anita McCarver of Monroe.

He was preceded in death by one brother Calvin McCarver.
