Hilda Beeson Gudger, 77, of Norwood, passed away on Monday August 28, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Funeral services will be held on Friday September 1, 2017 at 11:00AM at Albemarle First Assembly. Rev. Bob Gruver, Rev. Kevin Munson, and Rev. George Mullin will officiate and burial will follow at Porter Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Ms. Gudger was born on October 7, 1939 in Guilford County to the late Thomas Boyd and Annabell Carpenter Beeson. She was a member of Porter Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Eddie Calvin Gudger.
She is survived by her children Pamela Gudger of the home and Randy Gudger and wife Cammy of Albemarle. Three grandchildren: Caleb, Noah, and Abigail Gudger.
