Hazel Tarlton Huneycutt

Hazel Tarlton Huneycutt, 92, of Norwood passed away Friday morning, September 1, 2017 at Woodhaven Court.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate and burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Park in Albemarle.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home.

Mrs. Huneycutt was born March 12, 1925 in Anson County to the late John Tarlton and Lillian McCormick Tarlton.  She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Bennett Huneycutt, Sr.; son, Curtis Eugene Huneycutt; brothers, Grady, June Bug, Curtis, Charlie, Raymond and Tom.

She is survived by her son, Reuben “Butch” Huneycutt, Jr. (Irene) of Albemarle and daughter, Charleen H. Lisk (Bernie) of Norwood; grandchildren, Stacy Stonstrom (Stephen), Jennifer Miller (Larry), Julie Coakley(Jason), Misty Barbee(P.J.), Zack Lisk, Candi Pressley(Jason) and Brooke Drake (Tim); 12  great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. 

The family wishes to thank Community Hospice and Woodhaven Court for their loving care.

When not at the funeral home the family will gather at both Butch and Charleen's Homes.
