Erma Eloise (Maupin) Levy

Erma Maupin Levy, 89, of Norwood, passed away on Monday February 12, 2018 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 2:00PM at Norwood Cemetery and Rev. Delane Burris will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45PM at Edwards Funeral Home before the service.

Ms. Levy was born on June 9, 1928 in Albemarle County VA to the late J. Irvin and Roslie Bruffey Maupin. She worked for many years at Collins & Aikman of Norwood and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Simmons Levy Jr. and son Robert Levy.

She is survived by her sons: Douglas Levy (Janet) of Albemarle and Bruce Levy (Teri) of Norwood; her daughters: Deanne Barbee (Paul) of Albemarle, Alice Kimrey (Bryce) of Cornelius, and Sara Helms (Jody) of Oakboro; her sister: Janice Callahan of Chesepeake VA; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
