Clayton Brown Ivey

Clayton Brown Ivey, 61, of Midland, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2017 at Tucker Hopsice House in Kannapolis.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 12:00PM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Craig Scott will officiate and family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Ivey was born on May 24, 1956 in Union County to the late Margie Anglish and Mack Ivey Sr. He was last employed with Howell Center and was a member at Calvary Praise and Worship Center.

Clayton loved all of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was most proud to be called ‘Paw Paw.’

Clayton is survived by his loving wife, Aundrea Lefler Ivey of the home; one son Jason Lasley of Peachland; one daughter Chrystal Nixon (Neal) of Locust; one step-son Kevin Bowers(Amanda) of Norwood; and one step daughter Emily Bowers of Albemarle. Three brothers: Johnny Ivey(Dean) of Marshville, Mack Ivey (Carolyn) of Locust, and Robert Ivey of Mint Hill. Three sisters: Linda Ivey of Concord, Karen Beaver of Mint Hill, and Christine Hucks of Concord.  Ten grandchildren: Johnathan, Alisha, Calvin, Nicole, Brooke, Jason Jr., Michael, Kirsten, Jacob, and Amberlyn; and two great-grandchildren: Shelby and Kalab.
