And so his Spirit lives on as a testament to the impact he had on the lives of others. May this give you comfort.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

Sparky you and I have shared so many times together. We have laughed at each other, prayed for each other and shared a many of stories. I will miss you greatly in Sunday School.
I still remember one of the Sunday School lessons we had about 6 months ago when I wrote this on the board.
I LOVE THE LORD BECAUSE................................................... when it got to your turn you started singing.
Because he lives I can face tomorrow because he lives all fear is gone.

When I went to the visitation Sunday evening, I went early and there were folks already in line. As I progressed in line the funeral directors closed the front door and opened the Chapel door and had folks come in that way. When I left there were people standing outside the door. I went to Church and on my home home I saw the line way down the street. He was loved by so many and known by so many and the out pour of visitors was amazing. I know you are saddened at this time but try to think of the wonderful times you had during his life and all the folks that loved him and I am sure you will have a smile. May God bless you.

Norwood has lost an ICON. Your daily presence at the Grill ,seeing you ride the streets around town on your lawn mower, cleaning the car wash, hanging around Jimmy's Barber Shop, or just passing you by on a daily basis will be greatly missed by all who knew you. You had a unique way of introducing yourself to strangers that always cracked me up with sayings like this - do you know my name, I hope you know yours or challenging folks no matter how big or small, whether you knew them or not, to go outside for a butt whooping.
