Angelina Smith

Angelina Smith 82 of Albemarle died Friday Morning, May 5, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, May 8, 2017, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Father Peter Fitzgibbons will officiate and interment will follow in Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Sunday evening at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Mrs. Smith was born August 14, 1934 in Ligao Albay, Philippines. She was a daughter of the late Mariano Quiqino and Hipolita Floranza Trillanes. She was a retiree of Allison Manufacturing and Collins and Aikman of Albemarle. She attended Annunciation Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Hoover “Bob” Smith.

She is survived by her daughter Amy Smith (HA Stogner) of the home. Also surviving are two sisters living in the Philippines.
