Earl will be missed by the members of VFW Post 6183 where he served as Senior Vice Commander. Earl passion was to help other veterans. Last fall he lead a drive to carry clothing to the VA in Salisbury to give to homeless veterans. Some of the items were used but most were new off the rack from Wal-Mart in Albemarle. Earl used his saleman ship to get the store to help out. The store matched what ever Earl had raised in money. He collected over $1000.00 in clothing to help the veterans and help del them to the VA.
